A little bit about Me !
Before I could walk I had skis on my feet…That’s what happens in the woods of northern New Hampshire. Growing up in Bethlehem and skiing Cannon Mountain since I was 2 It was inevitable I would find my one true love. 21 years later I have traveled the world and seen more than most 90 year olds. I was a borderline psychotic 10 year old, determined to be the best at whatever it was I took on in the world; and for the first 21 years of my life it was alpine ski racing. I made the US ski team when I was a Junior in High School, and traveled the world since I was 13, pursuing my dreams. I would never take my childhood back for anything. It opened my eyes to all avenues of the world at a young age. All the people that were jealous of my life, just remember I was jealous of yours. I learned more in 6 years of traveling the world than anyone could imagine. Traveling has a way of making you grow up much faster than normal.
I’m in a transition in my life right now. I’m testing out all the waters of the fluffy white stuff….
My brother moved to Jackson Hole when he graduated college in 2005 and I was living in Park City, UT. The day that I went to visit him, and skied chest deep powder, was the day my mind started thinking about all the angles I could enjoy life. Last year I decided to see what else the world had to offer. I moved to Jackson in April to live closer to my best friend/brother Cam. I decided to switch to Ski Cross, travel a bit less, but still get a little competitive edge with some freestyle mixed in, and ski pow as much as possible. I have never been happier!
This is me now…………
Let me explain
Imagine 50 miles an hour, 8 skis, 8 poles and 4 people in mid-air… any slight touch, bump, or breathe… and the biggest yardsale you’ve ever seen. Its such a rush, you always have that nervous stomach cause you never know what’s about to happen. If you’re in control the three others might not be….That’s my newest way of pumping blood through my veins, and switching the adrenaline to full blast!
Then I come home to 5 feet of fresh powder…..calm my nerves a bit with face shots in Granite cannon or ski bluebird days off Cody Peak, chill with the best friends you could ask for, and look at the breathtaking tetons every morning and night!
